Memorial Day Yard Games for Backyard Cookouts
Memorial Day often starts the outdoor party season, which makes it a strong time to bring out a fresh yard game for family and friends.
Bermuda Ball is easy to set up before guests arrive, simple enough for casual players, and memorable enough to become part of the summer routine.
Start the Outdoor Season With Simple Games
Memorial Day cookouts are easier when games require little explanation and can fit around meals and conversation. A portable setup also helps when the gathering moves between a driveway, yard, park shelter, or campground.
Before you set up: Choose a level throwing area away from grills and parked cars. Let guests practice before keeping score, and use short rounds so players can rotate. Check the forecast and have a simple plan for gathering pieces if weather changes.
Keep the Gathering Respectful and Relaxed
Bermuda Ball adds active target play without requiring a permanent court. The game can be one part of a relaxed holiday gathering rather than the focus of the entire day.
